My Story
As a Bedford mum of 2 young children I constantly found myself searching our local area for places to attend with babies and toddlers. Between pre and postnatal care, infant support networks, baby classes, cold tea on the hard floor of a village hall, toddler playgroups, craft events and sticky soft play it felt endless. Each next step of my motherhood journey meant I had to find the courage and confidence to go somewhere new, often committing to blindly pay a whole term upfront. I tiptoed my way out of the fog and prayed that my baby would nap on time that day so we’d make it to our class, without a nappy explosion or a missed feed; hoping that just maybe I would make a new friend this time.
While I loved attending some of Bedford’s wonderful offerings, at each new phase I found myself having to say goodbye as we moved on to the next place more developmentally in line with my child’s ever changing needs.
Affectionately named Vivi & Noo after my own children, I knew I needed to bring the venue I had longed for to other parents of Bedford. One designed to welcome you throughout parenthood with an offering for every stage of the journey under one roof. A venue where parents are at the heart of care, friendship and community from the very start.
I can’t wait to welcome you and take the care of you that you deserve. (You truly can’t survive sleep deprivation on a handful of digestive biscuits and a microwaved cup of tea).
